Within this unit, it explains how and what to focus on when it comes to pronunciation and the phonology behind learning the English language. What I learned from this is that it is not always important to perfect the pronunciation because it may not always get to a point of a native speaker with a student due to their accent. What is important is that they understand what the words are and how they are properly pronounced so that when they hear or read the word that they are able to understand what is being said or read.
