This unit has taught me the various parts of speech, how to identify them, how to explain them, and their role in a given sentence. I learned what parts of speech a sentence is made up of, how they interact with each other, and correct positioning of said parts, i.e. subject goes before verb. I also learned some of the common difficulties students may have with learning these parts of speech, such as confusing possessive pronouns and possessive adjectives.
