This unit gave ideas and methods on how to teach students receptive skills, especially comprehending large amounts of English in a small amount of time. The skills that students need to do this effectively will need to be taught over a large period of time, and progress will most likely will not be immediately apparent to the students, so motivation and encouragement will be very important. The only way to get better at this is practice, so I think that a lot of classes or at least units should have a bit of exercises like this involved in different degrees of difficulty to build confidence.
