The video lessons reflect how important the teacher's attitude and methods of engaging with the class are for the success of the lesson. In the first video the teacher is dismissive and intimidating, therefore the students do not want to participate. He also does not explain the learning objectives or the activities well so the learners appear confused throughout the lesson. In the second video, he is encouraging and supportive, as well as clear in his explanations. He also has a more engaging lesson plan and therefore it is a much more successful lesson in general.
