The first video compared to the second is an example of different techniques that make it very hard for students to want to learn, and understand. The teacher immediately starts saying “it’s very, very easy” then when a student offers the incorrect answer the teacher shames them. This neither engages the students or makes them want to try again. In the second video the teacher starts off by offering their name and asks the names of the students in return. They then engage the students with naming as many animals as they can. The teacher in the second video compared to the first always makes themselves available, walking around and motoring, and generally more available.
