In this unit we have learned parts of speech. We have revised common and proper nouns , absrtact and collective nouns, singular and plural , countable and uncountable nouns withe their exceptions and special cases. While speaking of adjectives it is important to mention that there is a basic rule of the order of adjectives, because student ask very often ehat is the right order of using size, colour, material and age of the nouns in the same sentence. The order is the following . Size-age - colour-material -eg. a long old brown wooden table . We also remembered irregualar comparatives and superlatives. Remember all specific rules of the usage definite article -The. We learned transitive and intransitive verbs . When the verb is followed directly by an object it means it is a transitive verb .e.g My friend invited me to his birthday party. In opposite of transitive verbs , intransitive verbs simply do the action , dont do anything to anyone. E.g sleep, arrive , go and so on . We revised the irregular verbs , the main 5 types of adverbs, types of pronouns, prepositions of time , movement, place/position , conjuctions, which join words or groups in a sentence. In conclusion , it was really an interesting unit , thoughi we know all these part of specch , but we revised them one more time and in some cases more detail .
