Testing is usually a scary subject for students, however the same can be true for teachers. Knowing my students feel uncomfortable, are nervous or even afraid is not very pleasant. Often, their final test results are some time decisive in terms of their future employment thus greatly influencing their lives. Therefore, I try to prepare them for their final tests in a similar way as for an external testing. Myself I took TEOFL at the age of 17 yrs of age and I remember that I had practised with sets of sample tests, yet some of the questions were too difficult, in particular in the listening part. On the other hand, I had good results in the vocabulary section as most of the high-level expressions originated in Latin and we had had latin at school.
