the last 2 of the 4 communication skills; speaking and writing. the most neglected of the 2 is writing. It is usually left as a homework and even then not done. teacher must stimulate in their students the desire to speak. There are many obstacles and sometimes the teacher is at root of the problem when not finding the balance in correcting errors students make. there are activities and stages when correcting is more important than others. Accuracy activities should be presented in the study segment of the lesson whereas it is a more teacher controlled activity. Activities such as role-plays, are usual done in the activate segment and allow the students to practice what they have learned. The teacher will mostly have the role of an observer and note the things student did well. afterward the teacher will give a feedback to the class. Writing is an essential part of learning process because poor spelling and handwriting generally indicate the level of education of the writer to the one reading it. On the other hand, good spelling and beautiful handwriting gives the student a sense of pride and dignity.
