Unit nineteen lists several groups of students that teachers need to be aware of when deciding what types of activities/content might be appropriate for the different groups, and what the varying goals of these groups might be. A needs analysis sample is given to show teachers the type of information one should collect possibly for a business looking to have individuals in their company learn English. Beginners, Individuals, English for Special Purposes groups (like business), multi/monolingual groups and children should each be approached in a different way. The unit provides tips and activities that are very helpful for all of these groups. I was also glad to have the idea validated that teachers should always use English in the classroom. I follow that practice also.
