Earlier when I was doing the unit on present tense the paradigm that we would be using for verb tenses confused me. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to grasp past verb tenses because we had already set up the framework in an earlier section. I do think that using to start as the verb on the test makes the sentences difficult to think through because start is a word with a time indicator.
