In this unit it was great to learn what different approaches or techniques you can use to teach a foreign language but also to understand that not all are equally effective depending on the students language level or what you teach. The unit also taught the ESA (Engage, Study and Activate)method, which I found very helpful to be able to structure my future lessons. In particular the different ideas/games/tasks for each part are very useful to plan your lessons. It is great to know how to distinct between mistakes and errors and in which parts of a lessons it is important to correct/help them to correct their mistakes and where you should just let the lesson flow in order to let the students just practise to speak English.
