In this lesson, I was presented with 2 videos depicting 2 different versions of an English lesson. I had to determine which lesson was more effective in terms of engaging the students and teaching lesson concepts. I found this lesson to be very useful and informative, as it conveys what I have learnt from previous units in a real world context. This lesson gave me the opportunity to make my own observations and judgments regarding the teachers behavior, techniques and attitude, along with the students receptiveness to his approach. As a result of observing the teachers mistakes and successes, I can take what I have learnt and apply it to my own lessons.
