This unit was very helpful to see what how the techniques we've learned in previous units play out in a classroom. Seeing the two different videos of teaching, I was able to notice how the student attentiveness was drastically different according to how the teacher taught. Students want to learn but when the teacher teaches in a way that is confusing, difficult and quickly, students will easily become distracted and uninterested. I hope that I can reflect on these two videos as I prepare for my lesson plans.
