This unit speaks about the different teaching techniques developped over the years. it mentions the pros and cons for each one of them. Afterwards is the introduction of the ESA method which only takes the best of every teaching method. We learn that E stands for engage, which allows the student feel comfortable and learn in a stress-free environment and where it is better for a teacher not to correct the mistakes a student makes. The S stands for study. In this stage of the Lesson the teacher has a greater role since he or she must give the students all the explanations and corrections necessary to move on to the ACTIVATE section, which constists of providing activities that allow the students use what they have learned. We also learned that although a leasson always begings with an ENGAGE segment and ends with an ACTIVATE segment, there can be multiple segments of engage, study, activate in the same Lesson.
