This lesson I watched 2 videos of "what to do" and "what not to do" when teaching an effective lesson. The lesson in the first video was an obvious example of what not to do but still is helpful to me to see the distinctions between the two. I think watching the second video helped me to actually visualize myself giving a lesson. In my opinion one of the most important things a teacher can do during a lesson is to build a rapport with the students. This will help to motivate and encourage them.
