The first video made me cringe because the teaching method was so confusing and far from organized. The lecture and the group activity had no sense of direction, and I understand completely why the students could not effectively learn and actively participate. They were shy, intimidated, and afraid that the teacher would make them feel incompetent. The second video was much better for the students to be engaged in the lecture, understand the lesson, and actively participate in the gap-fills and group activities.
