In this unit we leanred how and when to teach new vocabulary to students. With everything else in the English language, this must be done in sections. The teacher wants to begin with vocabularly that is easy for the student to learn, using easy words will help motivate and encourage the learner to go further with their english studies. Factors which determine vocab words to be easy and/ or difficult are similarities to students antive langauge, similarities to English words already known, and appropriacy.
