This was one of the more difficult units for me. As a native English speaker I guess I never really considered the many difficulties associated with pronunciation. My knowledge and experience regarding the rules and the specifics with phonetics in particular required lots review. I don't think I have covered these topics in quite some time, so if it can be difficult for native speakers, this Unit has definitely demonstrated how new English learners can have troubles, but also how to help overcome them. I am much more confident if I am ever asked to help a student improve their pronunciation and phonology.
