Teaching Aids are useful tools that teachers have at their disposal to better convey a point to students. Often times students learn in different ways, whether visually, auditory or hands-on. These different types of learners will find it easier to learn something based on their preferred learning style. For example, an auditory learner may find that listening to an audio recording of a conversation between two people will help them more than a fill-in writing exercise. Another example is using a DVD to show native programs which could be very beneficial in demonstrating how native English speakers talk, and it could be particularly helpful for visual learners.
