This unit discussed the course books and lesson materials. Course book comes into 3 ( students books, workbooks and teacher's resource book). The advantages and disadvantages of course book were also discussed. There are four approaches on how to use the course book; these are omit, replace, supplement and adapt. This unit also gave the types, example, advantages and disadvantages of authentic and created materials. The use of materials in a class should be relevant to the topic, interesting and it should be within the level of the students.
