These two example videos were a great help to better understand how much the teachers attitude can effect the students ability to learn. You could tell the students were losing interest and not understanding because the teacher was not following an ESA teaching method, he was not developing good rapport with his students, and he was not explaining activities or drilling the students when they did not understand something. The second video taught me the importance of the students talking and working together instead of the teacher just talking at the students. I saw the patience the teacher had as well as the ability to move on and continue through if something doesn't go like it should have. I saw my first ever ESL teaching lesson so it was very helpful to see the contrast from a bad to a great lesson.
