This chapter gives an overview of the ways correct pronunciation can be taught effectively, along with nuances in the language e.g. intonation and stress which are all essential to speaking English. Teaching pronunciations through phonetic script is still a strategy that I am quite doubtful of, however, as I prefer to not delve into technicalities when it comes to pronunciation. I usually opt instead for mimicry as a strategy.
