While I have an intuitive sense of sentence structure and the use/placement of words within a sentence, I was unfamiliar with the grammatical rules that governed this. Throughout this unit, I learnt the explicit grammatical rules for the formation of sentences. As part of this unit, I learnt (or became more familiar with) concepts such as prepositions, nouns, pronouns, conjunctions, gerunds, adjectives, adverbs, articles and much more. As a result of completing this unit, I feel that i am now more capable of explaining sentence structure and grammar to my future students.
