I learned that in order for students to understand English, the one teaching has to know the rules. This helps them with understanding. The content covered was the parts of speech, nouns and the types of nouns with examples, adjectives, comparisons, both comparative and superlative. Next, articles were talked about as well as the specific rules with examples.
Very important are the action words, verbs, with a plethora of examples and their tenses. Adverbs, adjectives, gerunds, which I had forgotten about, pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions were all part of my learning. This was a great refresher for me.
