There are various methods and lesson structures that can be used in the classroom, the main structure following the aspects of engaging the students in the language, followed by a study session on a specific language point, and then followed by an open activity in which students are encouraged to communicate with new vocab and previously studied vocab. The latter two sections are more flexible in terms of lesson structure, which is beneficial to teaching specific language points, maintaining classroom engagement, and preventing lessons from becoming predictable.
