This unit explained why lesson planning is important. Sometimes I think that I might get a little nervous when I get to teach a class of my own, so if I hadn't studied this lesson I would probably be scripting my lessons. I like to overthink many things and this unit taught me that I should relax and don't plan inflexible, so there is room for change during a lesson. Just have notes on the side to keep you on track.
