While that past tense may seem a bit less complicated than the present tense, I believe that it still may present some challenges for English language learners. Specifically the use of the past perfect continuous. I must keep reminding myself however that the level of English that I will most likely be teaching will not be as concerned with in depth grammar knowledge but more so on basic conversation and understanding.
