This unit provided two very detailed and helpful examples of what ESA formatted lesson plans might look like. Each lesson provided insight into the challenges that students might face during the lesson, and the ways in which the teacher would guide the lesson. While incredibly well thought out, there was certainly a simplicity to the lessons that would allow the teacher to quickly see where he or she was and what was upcoming in the lesson. I found the structure to be incredibly organized but also very practical and accessible, and I can see how a lesson plan written in this manner would be a beneficial tool for a teacher to have while instructing and coordinating lessons.
