With future tenses, the complexity of the English language seems to truly shine through. I find the classifications and conditions that apply to each tense fascinating. The specific contexts that apply to each of the future tenses help drastically to emphasize the differences between the various tenses, but to the English language learner, these differences may be difficult indeed to decipher. This unit's clear definition of each tense and the purposes for which each is used helped me to gain a more refined understanding of these differences and how I might explain them to English language learners in the future.
