This unit delved into the process of selecting and teaching vocabulary and grammar and how ESA methods might convey such learning. I truly appreciated how the process was so explicitly broken down in order to best display how one plans a lesson. I can see myself referencing back to this unit in the future when I begin to plan lessons, as it is very clearcut and provides a rationale that would assist me in selecting content and planning lessons. I also thought that the point of the first example lesson plan being "not right" was an impactful reminder that there are endless directions in which the instruction of content can go in. This unit was truly helpful as it sort of let me "see into" the mind of a teacher and look at the thought processes and factors involved in planning an effective lesson.
