I think this unit is as important as the other ones. Both reading and listening skills are very important in a learning process but in my opinion, listening is more difficult to work with than reading. Sometimes, you have a big group(let's say 8 students) and some of them have different levels of difficulties in listening but you have to follow a schedule so it is hard to do more than we teachers have to do. What I try to do is to ask them to practice more by themselves and suggest activities that they can do to improve their listening skills but I know that some of them are lazy and do only what is required by the teacher in class.
