The most interesting parts for me, as well as with many chapters, is not what we should do, but what we shouldn't do. Some things might seem logical in another situation but is not in a classroom when considering the students. For instance, I once had a teacher in training who would write on the board only in capital letters. She explained it was because her own handwriting is so terrible and we will see it more clearly that way. She had clearly not considered that it made for a chaotic board we could not easily concentrate on or even make sense of. It is important to train ourselves to think like the students and what would benefit them most.
