What I found most interesting about this unit, were the teaching suggestions and the fact that some, like the philosophical questions and the bunker game, really spoke to me. They seem like genuine fun. It creates one of those situations where you don't realize you are learning because of the energy you invest in playing a game. It reminds me of my Spanish classes when we were studying numbers. We played Uno and Bingo. It wasn't until I went shopping the next day that I realized how much I had retained. I would like my students to sometimes experience the same.
