Unit 15 is about evaluation and testing. Five types of tests are introduced in this unit. They are placement, diagnostic, progress, practise and proficiency. The unit helped me to understand what these tests are for and why are they conducted. For example, diagnostic test are given in the beginning of course so that they teacher would know what the students already know and help the teacher to prepare lesson and materials that will help students to work on the areas that they have difficulties in.
