The main issue of this lesson is how to teach and how to balance between teaching plan and teacher’s flexibility. Teachers have to find best way how to conduct lesson plan and to be flexible at the same time. Most of them are somewhere in the middle and I think that teachers should adjust the lecture according the situation. Lesson plan has very important functions, like a what teachers expect the students to achieve, what are the learning goals of each lesson. Also, lesson plan guide teachers through the lesson, but in the same time if the students show more interesting for some particular activity, teachers have to be flexible and extend the time of that activity. How to prepare lesson plan, how to organize and what include lesson plan are also important things in this process. Each teacher should find their own way how to write and prepare lesson plan (write details, structure of lecturing, time for each activity, etc.), but the most important thing is being flexible for adaption. Being organized means to prepare everything in advance and check if everything is ready for the class (props, equipment, lesson plan, materials, etc.). Content of lesson plan is very individual and each teacher has own way of preparation. Some of them wants to have more detail about each activity, and some of them need just short notes on piece of paper. Anyway, recommended things in lesson plans are: learner objectives, personal aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, number of students, date/time and teacher’s and observer’s name.
