In this unit we covered lesson planning. We discussed the benefits of lesson planning and utilizing it as an aid in planning, using it as a working document, and also a record for future reference. We also discussed having a flexible lesson plan and being able to adjust based on student feedback and need as well as changing the methodology if a teaching method is not working. I have taught before so I am very familiar with written lesson plans. I have found that these are also determined by the school administration. I do like the ESA approach to lesson planning and incorporating it into the planning process and documentation.
