I have learnt a lot about the present tenses in the unit. As a fluent english speaker, I am able to use all the tenses fluently even without giving it a second thought when structuring sentences for communication purposes. Nonetheless, I sometimes do not realize that I am using this tense at this moment and the other tense the next moment. I just blurted out unconsciously. Having to refresh my english grammar in this unit with the present tenses, I am able to grasp a better idea on how, when, and why we are using these tenses in our daily conversations and be able to teach the tenses more confidently in class to the new language learners. By mastering the tenses in learning english, new learners will be able to build a solid and firm language learning foundation to continue to advance in this learning path.
