There are many factors that can determine the students ability and willingness to learn based on cultural and varying ages of the students. Because of this, it is important that the teacher is able to identify the language abilities of the students and adapt to the needs of the students while maintaining a professional and comfortable learning environment. Older students have most likely been exposed to other types of learning styles and may find it harder to learn a newer style, let alone language.
