A classroom is a dynamic environment that includes individuals that have specific needs and challenges within their own lives. This could prove difficult when it comes to behavior and the effectiveness of the lesson and can be controlled by the teacher through disciplinary methods as well as arrangments of the classroom. If students seem to be a negative influence on each other then they should not be put close to each other in the class. It is also important to note that most disciplinary issues are caused by factors outside the classroom within the students life and should be dealt with and managed correctly by the teacher in order to ensure a healthy and comfortable working environment. Ideally for the way I would like to teach, a smaller classroom would be most beneficial to allow more student-teacher and student-student interaction time, although being able to modify activities and teaching styles based on the number, and characteristics, of students is important.
