This unit covering the Future Tenses is more complicated than the previous units dealing with the Present and Past Tenses. We meet the four usual culprits - simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. Then we are told there are three additional future tenses. There is the 'going to' future (be going + infinitive) and to confuse the English Language students even more we learn that the Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses also have future applications.
There are a lot of usages for the future tenses which will take some remembering so it was good that in the teaching video we were advised, that when identifying tenses, to focus on the structure of the sentence rather than its usage - sage advice indeed!
There are a lot of interesting teaching ideas for the various future tenses which I found very useful.
