This unit covers the present tense forms: present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. Each one of these shows a particular context of that pertains to the present time period. The simple present shows actions that are frequent or routines. The present continuous shows actions that are happening at the time of speaking. Present perfect shows actions that started in the past and their results come to the present. The present perfect continuous show repeating actions that started in the past and come to the present.
