The unit taught about sentence structure and how the arrangement and use of words result in a meaningful sentence. It focused on the use of different parts of speech such as nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, gerunds, conjunctions, prepositions, verbs etc and how the correct organization of such words can result in different meanings. I also noticed that some words fall under more than one parts of speech and it depends on how you use it in a sentence that determines its function and therefore the meaning of the sentence.
