English is difficult because of all the "rule breakers". It is also difficult for non-native speakers because the tenses are so difficult to learn. However, there are other languages that I understand are even more difficult. I have heard that Navajo is very difficult in particular because the tenses are so difficult to interpret. Farsi, on the other hand, is relatively easy. Verbs are fairly regular and tenses are similar to English!
