This unit was particularly interesting when compared to the others, because it was just the showing of 2 videos of an English language lesson. The 1st lesson was one where the teacher was making many mistakes, and I was asked to make note of them. He was cold, mumbled a lot, and was confusing, with a bad layout of the lesson and just didn't seem to know how to teach the students well so that they could understand. The 2nd lesson was when the teacher was teaching how he should. He spoke slower and more clearly, made class more fun, and seemed to be much more interested in the students, with a good layout and good communication of the topic of the day. Watching these lessons, I learned how the reactions of the two different teaching style gets two different responses from the students. I didn't learn so much that they would act differently towards the teaching styles though, but that if I saw that a future class of mine were all acting like the students were in the first video, that maybe I am doing something wrong, and should adjust my teaching to fit their needs.
