In this unit I have learnt about teaching vocabulary, introducing grammatical structures and teaching language functions. This unit has clarified four things the students needs to be done when learning a new language. Students must be exposed to the language, students must understand its meaning, understand how it constructed and be able to practice and produce it. I have learnt that grammar is very important while vocabulary and functions add value which can be regarded as beauty and variety. Students should be ensured and introduced to the language in a balanced and manageable way. E S A (Engage, Study, Activate) approach method is appropriately used and is applied when introducing the new language. Boomerang and Patchwork approach are commonly used as an approach to teach new language.
