I found this lesson a bit confusing at first. After reading it over a few times the concept finally started to sink in. I realized that ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) don't always have fixed boundaries and without knowing these terms, I have been using similar methods for several years.
I did learn, however, that correction during a presentation is not as effective as waiting for the end and then talking about it. I have witnessed a practical application of this while assisting a veteran teacher during a 10-day workshop designed for job search and interviews. This teacher had a habit of writing while listening and giving notes or corrections at the end.
