The future tense is used to tell what will happen in the future. There are seven different forms. Future simple is used to talk about facts in the future, promises and predictions without evidence. Common cues for the future simple include shall and will. Future continuous is used to talk about something progressing in the future, predicting, and inquiries. The phrase will be is used in the future continuous tense. Future perfect is used to describe something that will be done in the future and uses will have before the verb. Future perfect continuous is used to describe how long something continues in the future by a certain time. Be going plus infinitive is used to tell future intentions, predictions with evidence and plans, going to is the verb used for this form. Present simple and present continuous can also be used as a future tense.
