This unit covered, in a similar fashion to the previous unit, how to teach productive skills, speaking and writing. This included not only the objectives for learning these skills, but also techniques and games to encourage learners to speak and write, with emphasis on what teachers should focus on for certain types of activities; in other words, not all activities should be assessed based on language accuracy, since language is about holistic communication, which is more complex and involves a wider variety of features than accuracy alone. Most of my students are people in their early forties, and so this unit was especially useful in learning examples of fun activities that I hope to do with any younger learners I meet in the future.
