In this unit I have learnt about productive skills which is speaking and writing. Both speaking and writing are for communication. The teacher must create a desire in students to communicate. I have learnt about accuracy and fluency activities.These activities are are usually controlled to ensure accurate reproduction.of language. Accuracy and fluency carry the same importance. Speaking activities comprise of controlled activities , guided activities and creative communication. I have learnt why we as teachers should encourage students to speak.I have also learnt the techniques to encourage the students to speak. There are also guidelines for a free/creative speaking activity. Writing skills emphasizes handwriting , spelling layout, punctuation and creative writing. These elements play a vital role to a reader.Games in the classroom are activities with rules, goals and an element of fun. Many conventional and unconventional games can be adapted to language teaching, these games are competitive and cooperative games
