This unit explains how to teach productive skills. Productive skills are teaching and writing and are essential to the learning process of the English language. Sometimes, it can be hard to get students involved because they are shy and don't like speaking in a language they are not fluent in. However, there are many ways to encourage them to participate such as introducing games and group works because in this way they won't have to speak in front of the entire class. In addition to that, some students struggle with writing English letters due to their native language that might not be using the same ones. This has to be considered in preparing a class.
